Roy Stannard BA (Hons) (SocSci) Economic History; Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE); MIPA; MIDM has at various times been a teacher, advertising agency boss, radio station founder and owner and a record label executive. He has set up a number of companies and retains an interest in some of them. He has also founded and Chaired business associations in his home county of Sussex, UK.

He has a lifelong interest in learning, personal development and mentoring. He brings a wealth of the skills needed to take Powerchange to a new level. Roy's exceptional business development, media and commercial background combines with his love for people to make a much wider audience aware of the potential of Powerchange.

Powerchange has established a reputation for transforming and rehabilitating people with deep-seated psychological issues - often in very short spaces of time. It specialises in Auto-response Psychology which analyses how the mind is conditioned to think in certain ways, usually because of an early or childhood experience. It is successful in re-wiring these thought processes so that the individual is able to recognise this behaviour as learnt and therefore able to be changed - and then move on with their lives.

Roy has known Powerchange Founder and Chief Executive Andrew Sercombe for a decade, during which time they have shared many adventures, laughs, tears and fun together. Andrew says, "Roy is a huge asset. He was so supportive when the company was starting up. I've been trying to persuade him to be part of the team ever since!"

He is enthusiastic about sharing the life-changing tools developed by Powerchange with a much larger audience.

He has mentored young people in the commercial sector for many years. Around 300 students have passed through his various businesses and many of them now are well known in their own right in the various industry sectors Roy has engaged with. These have included Education; Recruitment; Advertising and Marketing, Radio, Television and now Personal Development.

He has published both creative and professional writing - including a strategy document in 2008 for the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) on how West Sussex should fulfil the requirement of the Leitch Report by recruiting more companies and more difficult to reach non-learners into the Skills Escalator process.

He also spearheaded in 2008 a campaign by West Sussex Health promoting better lifestyle choices amongst young people.

In his spare time he enjoys music, reading, writing, family activities and helping to run a leadership programme for Church Youth.
