Jim is a Partner with The PEOPLE Academy, Inc. Jim’s business philosophy is one of people centeredness. He believes in the transformational power of self directed learning. His nearly 30 years of experience has taken him through a number of industries including manufacturing, hospitality, education and non profit. Beginning in the field of Human Resources Jim saw first-hand the effects of engaging people in the decisions affecting their work. His collective experience includes adventures in marketing, customer service and operations domestically and internationally. He counts among his greatest achievements those instances where with gentle guidance someone struggling rises and succeeds. He received his Masters in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania and teaches business content as an Adjunct faculty member at Alvernia University.

SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

Directed post construction operational start up for a family oriented sports and fitness facility growing to $2.3M and 70 employees with exceptional market reputation in 3 years.

 

Designed and implemented resolution strategies for international children’s sports and fitness facility owners in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, England, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Japan and the United States related to management and operational barriers.  

 

Created customer service marketing function within newly organized call center. Staff grew from 5 part time sales people to 250 customer service employees working 24/7.

 

Facilitated the integration of two distinct cultures which successfully merged old world customer service with cutting edge marketing processes and world class training and development.

 

Opened several new outlets including staffing, and marketing, load in and merchandising for a small retail division (33 stores) of a large manufacturing firm.
